Luzhou Bio-chem Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. is one of the operating companies of Luzhou Group, whose headquarters is at No. 18 Luzhou Road in Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. The group works in fermentation and deep processing of agricultural products, with starch sugar as its main line.

It comprises more than ten subsidiaries, among them Luzhou Bio-chem in Singapore and separate operating companies in Shandong, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Henan and Sichuan, plus Shandong Luzhou Group Yishui Chemical. Group throughput is given as over 1.5 million tonnes of maize a year, producing more than 1.2 million tonnes of starch sugar products.

The catalogue covers maltose syrup, glucose syrup, high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, edible glucose, sorbitol, maltitol, brewing syrup, isomalto-oligosaccharide syrup and powder, dried maltose syrup, corn steep powder, isomaltitol, non-dairy creamer, dietary fibre, yeast feed and urea. Some products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions.

Group companies hold ISO9000, ISO14000, OHSAS18001, IP and HACCP certification along with Kosher and Halal certificates, and several products carry Chinese national key new product or Green Food Grade A designations. The group runs a nationally recognised enterprise technology centre and a postdoctoral research workstation, and is a vice-president unit of the China Food Industry Association.
