Shandong Yuxin Bio-tech processes non-GMO soybeans and develops soy derivatives. The business began in 2003 as Shandong Scents Soybean Protein Technology, which commissioned its first isolated and textured soy protein lines in 2004; the present company name was adopted in 2011. Production runs across an integrated chain covering soybean growing, transport, processing and use of by-products, with an annual soybean intake of 300,000 tonnes and stated output of 140,000 tonnes of soy protein products and 60,000 tonnes of non-GMO soybean oil.

The plant is in the Economic Development Zone of Boxing County, Shandong, in the Xiangchi Industrial Park. Capacity has been added in steps, including a 20,000 tonne per year isolated soy protein line and a soy fibre line in 2012, a textured granule protein line in 2020, a lecithin line in 2021 and a 30,000 tonne per year concentrate line in 2025. Beyond the four protein grades listed here, the range covers soy fibre, defatted soy flour, low-temperature edible flakes, lecithin and non-GMO soybean oil, with soybeans drawn from the company's own growing base in northeast China. Formal partnerships with Fuji Oil of Japan and By-Health date from 2016.

R&D is centred on an innovation centre at Boxing with supporting platforms in Guangzhou and Shanghai, and a team of close to 100 staff. The testing centre is CNAS accredited, and the company reports more than 20 management system certifications including BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ProTerra. Sales reach more than 90 countries.
