Xi'an Sost Biotech Co., Ltd.

Xi'an Sost Biotech Co., Ltd. was founded in 2004 and is registered in the Xi'an High-tech Zone, Shaanxi Province, with offices on Zhangba 5th Road. It extracts and purifies botanical ingredients for food, dietary supplement and cosmetic manufacturers, drawing raw material from the Qinling mountain range in western China. Product families include herbal and standardised extracts, mushroom extract powders, instant tea powders, fruit and vegetable powders and organic powders.

The first factory was completed in 2006 with an 11,000 square metre workshop, a 300 square metre warehouse and a 200 square metre laboratory. The laboratory was enlarged to 600 square metres in 2010, and construction of a new plant began in 2023. The company now reports three production sites covering roughly 120,000 square metres in total, with clean rooms rated to class 100,000 and eight production lines split across food ingredients, health food ingredients, cosmetic ingredients, high-purity single compounds and liquid products. Stated annual output is around 8,000 tons.

Sost holds ISO 9001 certification, obtained in 2008, and added US FDA facility registration in 2015, USDA Organic and Halal certification in 2016 and HACCP certification in 2020. It operates its own green tea and edible mushroom raw material bases, and opened a warehouse in California in 2019 to serve North American customers.
