Hemp Hearts Oil
Hemp Hearts Oil is the cold-pressed oil obtained from the dehulled seeds (hearts) of industrial hemp, Cannabis sativa L., selected to deliver a near-3:1 ratio of omega-6 linoleic acid to omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid together with the rare omega-6 gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
It is a deep green to greenish-yellow liquid with a characteristic nutty, grassy flavour and is sold as a culinary oil, a dietary supplement carrier, and a cosmetic skincare ingredient.
We source bulk Hemp Hearts Oil from top China manufacturers for our partners. The manufacturer is in Liaoning. A smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.

Common Markets Grades
Hemp Hearts Oil is graded by extraction method, hulling status, and processing intensity.
Dehulled-seed (hearts) cold-pressed oil is the top grade, produced from mechanically hulled seeds at low temperature to protect the flavour and the minor constituents.
Whole-seed cold-pressed oil uses the entire seed including the hull and carries a more intense flavour with slightly higher chlorophyll content.
Refined hemp oil has been bleached, deodorised, and winterized to produce a paler colour and milder flavour for use as a cosmetic carrier or pharmaceutical excipient.
Organic-certified grades are widely available under USDA NOP and EU organic standards, often paired with non-GMO Project verification.
Pharmaceutical and cosmetic grades may carry tightened specifications for THC content, peroxide value, and microbial profile.

How We Help Source Hemp Hearts Oil
Direct Factory Sourcing
We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.
Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer
The manufacturer sends your Hemp Hearts Oil out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.
Free Samples and Lead Time
We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.
Combined Shipment
We can load Hemp Hearts Oil together with other ingredients such as DHA, DHA Algal Oil and Mct into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.
Regulatory Status
Hemp seed oil from Cannabis sativa is recognised as a food in essentially all major jurisdictions when produced from approved industrial hemp varieties with Delta-9-THC content below the relevant regulatory limit.
In the European Union hemp seed oil falls under general food law and is included on the EU novel food catalogue as not novel when produced from Cannabis sativa L. seeds.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration treats hulled hemp seed, hemp seed protein powder, and hemp seed oil as GRAS for general food use under multiple GRAS notifications.
Canadian Industrial Hemp Regulations and the equivalent EU, UK, and Australian frameworks set THC limits in raw material and finished products, and finished oil is routinely tested for cannabinoid content.
Organic certification under USDA NOP and EU organic standards is widely available, along with non-GMO Project, halal, kosher, and vegan certifications.
Manufacturing Process
Industrial hemp is cultivated in Canada, China, France, Romania, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and a growing number of U.S. states under licensing frameworks that limit Delta-9-THC content in plant material to under 0.3 percent (or 0.2 to 0.3 percent depending on jurisdiction).
Seeds are harvested in late summer or early autumn, cleaned, and dried to under 9 percent moisture for stable storage.
For premium hearts oil, seeds are mechanically dehulled in impact or roller mills to separate the green inner hearts from the harder outer hull, with the hulls used as animal feed or soil amendment.
The dehulled hearts are then cold-pressed in screw expellers under temperature control (typically below 50 degrees Celsius) and the crude oil is filtered through plate-and-frame or polishing filters.
The oil is packed in nitrogen-flushed, light-protected containers without further refining, since the characteristic green colour and nutty flavour are central to what the product is sold on, and the oil oxidises very readily.
