Several standardisation targets define the grades of Orgainic Astragalus Root Extract.
The 0.3 percent and 0.5 percent astragaloside IV grades are HPLC-verified and used in finished-product formulations where regulatory-grade marker assay is required.

Manufacturing Process
Roots are harvested from four- to seven-year-old plants grown on certified-organic land in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, and Gansu provinces.
The roots are washed, sliced, and dried at controlled temperature. Quality roots show the characteristic yellow cross-section and a slightly sweet aroma.
The sliced root is extracted with hot water for polysaccharide-led grades and with food-grade ethanol-water mixtures for astragaloside-led grades. No synthetic solvents are used.
The crude extract is filtered, concentrated under vacuum, and either spray-dried directly (for native and polysaccharide grades) or passed through macroporous resin columns to enrich the astragaloside fraction before spray-drying.
Every lot is tested for astragaloside IV by HPLC, for polysaccharides by phenol-sulphuric acid method, and for the standard panel of pesticides, heavy metals, and microbiology.
