Heilongjiang Jinxiang Biochemical Co., Ltd.

Heilongjiang Jinxiang Biochemical Co., Ltd., which trades as Xiangyu Biochemical, was established in August 2015 and is registered in the Harbin New Area, with its management headquarters and research centre in the Daoli district of Harbin, Heilongjiang. It is a corn wet milling and deep processing company covering the chain from grain procurement and storage through logistics and trading to processing, and reports annual corn processing capacity of 3.5 million tonnes and revenue above ten billion yuan.

Output falls into six lines: starch, starch sugars, amino acids, feed raw materials, corn oil and biological feed. Starch goes into food processing, sugar refining, brewing, pharmaceuticals, paper, fermentation and modified starch. Starch sugars are used in alcoholic drinks, baking, soft drinks, cakes, puddings, canned goods, noodles, convenience foods and chewing gum. Feed products supply protein for poultry, pigs, cattle and fish, and a fermentation-based feed range has been developed for ruminants, pigs and poultry using corn and corn processing by-products.

Manufacturing is concentrated in three industrial parks. The Bei'an park, opened in August 2015 in Bei'an, Heihe, covers 230,000 square metres with planned investment of three billion yuan and one million tonnes a year of corn processing, focused on starch, by-products and biological feed. The Fujin park, also opened in August 2015, covers 540,000 square metres with the same planned investment and processing volume, and produces starch, fermentation products and inositol raw material. The Suihua park opened in March 2017 at Zhangwei Town in Beilin District, covers 1.5 million square metres and represents investment above 5.5 billion yuan; it processes 1.5 million tonnes of corn a year on what the company states are the world's largest single amino acid line and Asia's largest single starch sugar line, with capacity for 750,000 tonnes of crystalline glucose, 100,000 tonnes of threonine and 10,000 tonnes of tryptophan.

Distribution is supported by a rail-based logistics network and warehouses in Shandong, Chengdu, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangzhou, Nanning, Yingkou and Dalian.
