Jiangsu Kolod Food Ingredients Co., Ltd. was founded in 2009 and makes inorganic and organic salts for food, feed and pharmaceutical use. The product families listed are phosphates, citrates, chlorides, sulphates, formates, acetates, oxalates and ammonium salts, with the phosphate range split by cation into ammonium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and calcium salts.

Kolod runs four plants. Three are in the Guanyun Economic Development Zone and the fourth is in the Port Industrial Zone, both in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. The registered address is on the south side of Wei'er Road in the Guanyun zone. The company gives a combined site area of around 500,000 square metres, close to 1,000 staff of whom more than 200 are technical, 31 production lines and annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes. An earlier figure on the same page cites 450,000 square metres, 25 workshops and annual turnover of 200 million US dollars.

Certification listed covers ISO9001, ISO22000, FSSC22000, ISO14001, ISO45001, GMP, Kosher and Halal. Beyond food, the company says its salts go into feed, pharmaceutical, electronics, aviation, new materials and new energy applications.
