Lianyungang Zexin Food Ingredients makes phosphates. The sodium salts are the core of the range, monosodium and disodium phosphate including anhydrous grades, trisodium phosphate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hexametaphosphate, with potassium phosphates from monopotassium through to tetrapotassium pyrophosphate and potassium metaphosphate beside them. It makes both food and technical grades and blends compound phosphate systems.

The company was set up in 2013 and its plant, some 50 kilometres from Lianyungang port in Jiangsu, is rated at 30,000 tonnes a year of sodium phosphates and 10,000 tonnes of potassium and blended phosphates. Most of its technical staff have spent decades in the phosphate trade. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HACCP certification, and ships palletised and film wrapped to limit damage in handling.
