Shandong Xinhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (山东欣宏药业有限公司) was founded in 2002 and operates from 11 Huiyuan Street in the Shanghe County Economic Development Zone, Jinan, Shandong Province. It develops, produces and sells gluconate salts for pharmaceutical and food use.

The product range covers calcium gluconate in both API and food grades, zinc gluconate, ferrous gluconate, copper gluconate, magnesium gluconate, manganese gluconate, potassium gluconate, sodium gluconate in food and industrial grades, glucono-delta-lactone and gluconic acid solution. Products are made to GB 15571-2010 and to the Chinese, US, British and European pharmacopoeias as well as FCC IV.

The site covers 120,000 square metres and the company employs more than 200 people, around 50 of them technical staff. Cumulative investment is stated at over 100 million RMB, spent on a GMP gluconate production workshop and a laboratory building. The API workshop holds GMP certification, and the company also holds ISO 9001, Kosher and Halal certification and a CEP certificate. It reports exports to more than 20 countries and exhibits at CPHI and at the FIC food additives fair in China.
