Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate

Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate is a clarified or cloudy concentrate produced from the pressed arils of Punica granatum L.

It trades at 65 Brix as the industry standard, with deep ruby colour, sharp acidity, and the characteristic astringent finish that comes from the native ellagitannin fraction. Both organic and conventional grades are produced from the same processing platform with separate certified runs.

We source bulk Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate from top China manufacturers for our partners. The manufacturer is in Guangdong. A smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.

Common Markets Grades

The trade splits pomegranate juice concentrate into four grades: cloudy, clarified, organic and polyphenol-standardised. Concentration is a separate axis, 65 Brix for the volume trade and a lighter 35 to 40 Brix format for specific beverage applications.

The cloudy grade carries the full pulp-derived fraction and the deepest sensory profile. It is preferred for premium beverage, foodservice, and nutraceutical applications.

The clarified grade is processed through ultrafiltration for a brilliant translucent appearance. It is the standard for clear ready-to-drink beverages and for blending into sparkling waters.

The organic grade is produced from USDA NOP and EU 2018/848 certified orchards, with dedicated equipment cleaning between organic and conventional runs.

A polyphenol-standardised grade verified for punicalagin content is produced for buyers positioning around antioxidant claims.

How We Help Source Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate

  • Direct Factory Sourcing

We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.

  • Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer

The manufacturer sends your Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.

  • Free Samples and Lead Time

We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.

  • Combined Shipment

We can load Organic And Conventional Pomegranate Juice Concentrate together with other ingredients such as Astaxanthin, Dehydrated Garlic and Lutein into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.

Regulatory Status

Pomegranate juice is a conventional food in every regulated market, with no novel-food restrictions.

In the U.S., labelling follows 21 CFR 102.33, including percent-juice declaration in blends and standardised common naming. The Federal Trade Commission has issued guidance on permitted versus impermissible health claims for pomegranate beverages.

The European Union recognises pomegranate juice under standard fruit-juice marketing rules (Directive 2001/112/EC and Council Directive 2012/12/EU). USDA NOP and EU 2018/848 organic certifications apply to organic grades only.

Kosher and Halal certifications are routinely available. Non-GMO Project Verification is supported by the species' non-GMO status.

Manufacturing Process

Fruit is harvested at full ripeness, washed, and mechanically opened to release the arils. The arils are separated from rind and membrane, which carry bitter compounds that the process is designed to exclude.

The arils are pressed cold to yield a deep red juice. The press cake retains the seeds, which can be diverted to a separate seed-oil line.

The juice is screened, centrifuged, and pasteurised. For the clarified grade, it then passes through ultrafiltration. For the cloudy grade, it skips the filtration step and is concentrated directly.

Concentration is carried out in a falling-film evaporator under vacuum at low temperature to protect colour, anthocyanins, and the ellagitannin fraction. The product is pulled to 65 Brix and aseptically packed in steel drums or bag-in-box.

Organic and conventional runs are scheduled with documented cleanout protocols, validated through swab and rinse testing, to maintain certification integrity.
