Hebei Huaheng Biological Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2011 and is located on Xinghua South Street in Jizhou District, Hengshui, Hebei. It produces and sells amino acids and amino acid derivatives.

Output is organised into five families. The glycine line covers industrial, feed, food and pharmaceutical grades along with guanidinoacetic acid. The cysteine line covers food grade L-cystine, L-cysteine hydrochloride in monohydrate and anhydrous forms, L-cysteine, N-acetyl-L-cysteine and S-carboxymethyl-L-cysteine. The arginine line covers L-arginine, L-arginine hydrochloride, L-ornithine hydrochloride and L-citrulline. A chelate line supplies organic trace elements as glycinates of magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium, manganese, selenium, copper, boron and chromium, together with magnesium, zinc and calcium aspartates and magnesium taurate. The single amino acid line adds lysine hydrochloride, glutamic acid, alanine, methionine in L and DL forms, aspartic acid, threonine, leucine, tyrosine, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine and histidine. The company also distributes vitamins and sweeteners.

Stated capacity is 70,000 tonnes a year of glycine and 80,000 tonnes a year of amino acids and derivatives. Products go into food additives, feed additives, health product raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Certification covers FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 food safety systems and ISO 9001 quality management, together with kosher, halal, FAMI-QS, BRC and EU REACH registration. An associated company, Hebei Ruierse Biotechnology, has been through environmental assessment for a new plant with annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes of amino acid food additives, 20,000 tonnes of guanidinoacetic acid and 30,000 tonnes of granulated ammonium chloride.
