Shandong Jiejing Group Corporation

Shandong Jiejing Group Corporation is a seaweed processing group in Rizhao, Shandong Province, at 98 Shenzhen Road. The business dates to 1968 and now spans marine biology, health foods, import and export trade and research. It is a member unit of the China Algae Industry Association and heads the Rizhao municipal seaweed industry association.

Production is built around brown seaweed extraction. Alongside the alginate salts and alginic acid that form the core line, the company also makes propylene glycol alginate, brown algae oligosaccharides, kelp concentrate powder containing fucoidan, fucoxanthin, iodine and natural mannitol. Non-food output includes textile printing paste, seaweed fertiliser and seaweed animal feed. Company statements put annual capacity for industrial-grade sodium alginate and the related dyeing auxiliary at 12,000 tonnes.

The Jiejing brand is sold through a distribution network the company describes as reaching more than 80 countries and territories across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
