Shandong Lianmeng International Trade Co., Ltd.

Shandong Lianmeng International Trade is the export arm of Shandong Union Chemical Group, which was founded in 1997 with registered capital of CNY 455.8 million and is based in the Dongcheng business district of Shouguang, Shandong. The trading company is one of three commercial subsidiaries of the group, alongside a fuels company and a logistics company, and it sells the output of six manufacturing subsidiaries.

The food-related products come mainly from the group's sugar alcohol and vitamin chain, with stated annual capacity of 700,000 tonnes of sorbitol, 110,000 tonnes of trehalose, 50,000 tonnes of vitamin C and its downstream products and 20,000 tonnes of mannitol. The group describes itself as one of the largest sugar alcohol producers in the world. On the fertiliser and chemicals side it lists 1.8 million tonnes of urea, 1.2 million tonnes of synthetic ammonia, 700,000 tonnes of compound fertiliser, 350,000 tonnes of methanol, 300,000 tonnes of liquid carbon dioxide, 90,000 tonnes of ethyleneamines and 40,000 tonnes of potassium sulphate.

Group holdings include two high-technology enterprises, a national green factory and a provincial green factory, six research platforms above provincial level and 66 invention patents. Certification spans quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, measurement, energy and food safety management systems. Products reach more than 50 countries and regions.
