Tengzhou Tianshui Bio-Technology Co., Ltd.

Tengzhou Tianshui Bio-Technology was set up in September 2011 and makes heterocyclic synthetic flavour compounds, household chemical fragrances and pharmaceutical intermediates. Its catalogue is grouped by chemistry into cooling agents, furans, thiazoles, ethers, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, esters, pyrazines, thiophenes and others, which covers the methyl furanthiol, methyltetrahydrofuranthiol, methyl furfural, disulfide and furfuryl mercaptan grades listed here. Several dozen synthetic flavour and intermediate products are made in total.

The plant is in the biomedical industrial park at Dawu Town, Tengzhou, Shandong. The company has been designated a high-tech enterprise, a specialised and innovative small and medium enterprise and a technology-based small and medium enterprise, and runs a municipal key laboratory. Certifications listed are ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Kosher and Halal.

Customers are in more than 20 countries and regions and include Givaudan, Firmenich, Baiyunshan and Shuanghui. Research is done with the National Coal Chemical Research Centre, the University of Jinan, the fine chemicals research institute at Beijing Technology and Business University and the Hefei Institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The technical centre has around 20 research staff, and the company holds five Chinese invention patents and one international invention patent.
