Xintai Jiahe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in August 2012 with registered capital of RMB 200 million and is located in the Xinwen Industrial Park at Xintai, Tai'an, Shandong province. It is the northern production base of the Jiahe group, whose headquarters and other plant are at Shantou in Guangdong.

The Xintai operation makes food-grade amino acids, vitamins and cosmetic raw materials. The range includes L-cystine, L-histidine, L-serine, calcium and magnesium L-threonate, riboflavin sodium phosphate, uridine and ectoine.

The parent company works on the research, production and sale of amino acids and their derivatives and holds national pharmaceutical GMP certification along with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. It operates a Guangdong provincial engineering technology research centre for amino acid products and a Shantou biological fermentation engineering research and development centre, and holds several national invention patents. The Xintai company is a national high-tech enterprise and a national-level specialised little giant, a Shandong manufacturing single champion enterprise, a Tai'an technology-based SME and a designated key enterprise for agricultural industrialisation, and a council member of the China Biological Fermentation Industry Association.
