RZBC Group was established in 1992 in Rizhao, Shandong, and has concentrated since then on the research, production and sale of citric acid and citrate salts. The head office is at 21F, Block A, No. 66 Lvzhou South Road in Rizhao, and the group includes RZBC (Juxian) Co., Ltd.

The range covers citric acid in anhydrous and monohydrate forms together with sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium citrates. RZBC established a nationally accredited laboratory, a national technology development centre and the national analysis and testing centre for the citric acid industry, and it holds the director seat on the citric acid committee of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology. It has drafted and revised the national quality standard for citric acid, the discharge standard for water pollutants from citric acid production and the industry standard for social responsibility management.

Certification includes ISO9001, ISO14001, pharmaceutical GMP, BRCGS, OU kosher, halal, ISO22000, identity preserved compliance, SEDEX SMETA and FAMI-QS. The company has been named a national green factory and a national environment-friendly enterprise.
