BCAA
BCAA is the sports nutrition trade name for a powdered blend of the three branched-chain amino acids: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine.
The blend is a fine white to off-white crystalline powder, typically formulated at a 2:1:1 molar ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine. That ratio reflects the relative abundance of the three amino acids in skeletal muscle protein and is the convention used in nearly all clinical research on BCAA supplementation.
We source bulk BCAA from top China manufacturers for our partners. The manufacturer is in Jiangsu. For this ingredient the minimum order is 500 kg and a 20-foot container takes 10 MT, and a smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.
Please send the grade you need, the volume and your destination port, and we will come back with a solution and a price.

Common Markets Grades
Commercial BCAA is differentiated by ratio, particle size, and source of the individual amino acids.
The standard 2:1:1 blend is the reference product for sports nutrition. Higher leucine ratios such as 4:1:1, 8:1:1, and 10:1:1 are produced for muscle-protein-synthesis positioning, since leucine is the dominant trigger of mTOR signaling.
Instantized BCAA is the same blend coated with sunflower or soy lecithin to improve cold-water dispersion in shaker bottles, addressing the natural hydrophobicity of the three free amino acids.
Source is typically fermentation-derived from non-animal substrates, which qualifies finished goods for vegan and Halal positioning. Each individual amino acid in the blend meets USP, FCC, or AJI 92 monograph specifications at 98.5 to 99 percent assay.

How We Help Source BCAA
Direct Factory Sourcing
We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.
Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer
The manufacturer sends your BCAA out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.
Free Samples and Lead Time
We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.
Combined Shipment
We can load BCAA together with other ingredients such as Glycine, L-Arginine and L-Leucine into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.
Regulatory Status
The individual amino acids in BCAA are well-established food and supplement ingredients.
L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine each hold GRAS status in the United States for nutrient use, with FDA recognition for inclusion in infant formula, medical foods, and dietary supplements.
In the European Union, Directive 2002/46/EC and its amendments authorise the three amino acids as food supplement ingredients. They are also authorised in infant and follow-on formula under the relevant Commission Regulations.
Japan recognises the three amino acids under the JECFA-aligned amino acid specifications and they are widely used in functional beverage and clinical nutrition products.
Pharmacopoeial monographs for each constituent appear in the USP, EP, and JP. Sports certification programs such as Informed Sport and NSF Certified for Sport routinely audit finished BCAA products for prohibited-substance contamination.
Manufacturing Process
The blend itself is a dry-mix operation, but the constituent amino acids are produced individually by microbial fermentation before blending.
L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine are manufactured by aerobic batch fermentation of Corynebacterium glutamicum or engineered Escherichia coli on glucose-based media. Strains are pathway-engineered to overproduce one specific amino acid and to deregulate the feedback inhibition that normally limits BCAA biosynthesis.
Each broth is clarified, passed through cation exchange resin, eluted with ammonia, decolorised, and crystallised. The crystals are washed, dried, and milled to a target particle size.
Final BCAA blends are dry-mixed in stainless ribbon or paddle blenders at the specified molar ratio. Instantized grades pass through a fluid-bed coater where atomised lecithin is sprayed onto the moving bed and the coated particles are dried and screened.
