Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone
Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone is a certified-organic flavonoid concentrate extracted from the berries and leaves of Hippophae rhamnoides L.
The product is standardised on total flavonoids, with isorhamnetin, quercetin, and kaempferol glycosides forming the bulk of the active fraction. It is a pale yellow to brownish-yellow powder for capsule, tablet, and functional-beverage use.
We source bulk Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone from top China manufacturers for our partners. The manufacturer is in Inner Mongolia. A smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.

Common Markets Grades
Four total flavonoid assays define the grades: 5 percent, 10 percent, 20 percent, and 40 percent, measured by UV spectrometry against rutin.
The 5 percent and 10 percent grades are water-soluble berry extracts intended for tea bags, RTD beverages, and instant powders.
The 20 percent grade is the standard choice for capsule and tablet finished goods, balancing flowability with cost per active milligram.
The 40 percent grade is a leaf-derived concentrate used where high-potency dosing is required in small softgel or veggie-cap formats.
All grades carry USDA NOP and EU 2018/848 organic certification when supported by upstream-chain documentation. Carrier-free and maltodextrin-carried variants are both available.

How We Help Source Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone
Direct Factory Sourcing
We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.
Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer
The manufacturer sends your Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.
Free Samples and Lead Time
We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.
Combined Shipment
We can load Organic Seabuckthorn Flavone together with other ingredients such as Astaxanthin, Dehydrated Garlic and Lutein into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.
Regulatory Status
Sea buckthorn is recognised as a traditional food in China, Mongolia, Russia, and across Northern Europe.
In the European Union, sea buckthorn berry preparations are not classified as novel under Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 because of documented food use before 1997. Leaf-derived extracts may require additional substantiation depending on member-state interpretation.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration treats sea buckthorn berry extract as a dietary ingredient under DSHEA. Manufacturers must hold New Dietary Ingredient documentation only where the extract differs significantly from historical food forms.
USDA National Organic Program and EU Regulation 2018/848 certifications are issued by accredited bodies covering field, processor, and packer.
Manufacturing Process
Berries and leaves are harvested from certified-organic plantations, primarily on the Tibetan Plateau and in the Altai region.
Raw material is dried below 60 degrees C to protect the flavonoid skeleton, then milled and extracted with food-grade ethanol-water mixtures. No synthetic solvents or surfactants are used.
The crude extract is filtered, concentrated under vacuum, and passed through macroporous resin columns to enrich the flavonoid fraction. Resin selection is the main means of shifting the final assay between 5 percent and 40 percent.
The eluate is concentrated, spray-dried, and blended to specification. Residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals are screened on every lot to meet organic-certifier and EU food-supplement limits.
