Rebaudioside A
Rebaudioside A, commonly written as Reb A, is the dominant sweet glycoside in Stevia rebaudiana leaf and the workhorse of the modern stevia category.
It is a tetraglycoside built on the steviol aglycone, with three glucose units at C13 and one glucose at C19. The compound is roughly 200 to 300 times sweeter than sucrose and shows the cleanest taste profile of the major leaf glycosides.
We source bulk Rebaudioside A from top China manufacturers for our partners, working with several of them. The manufacturers are in Shandong. A smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.
Please send the grade you need, the volume and your destination port, and we will come back with a solution and a price.

Common Markets Grades
Reb A is traded by purity expressed on a dry basis.
Reb A 60 and Reb A 80 grades are entry-level powders, typically backed by a balance of stevioside and minor glycosides. They are used where cost is the primary driver.
Reb A 95, 97, and 98 grades are the mainstream commercial cuts. They deliver consistent sweetness and minimal bitterness and are the default choice for beverages, dairy, and tabletop sweetener blends.
Soluble Reb A grades are co-processed with maltodextrin, dextrose, or fibre to improve dispersibility in cold water. Granulated and agglomerated versions are produced for direct-to-consumer sachet and shaker formats.

How We Help Source Rebaudioside A
Direct Factory Sourcing
We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.
Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer
The manufacturer sends your Rebaudioside A out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.
Free Samples and Lead Time
We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.
Combined Shipment
We can load Rebaudioside A together with other ingredients such as Stevia, Erythritol and Maltitol into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.
Regulatory Status
Rebaudioside A at 95 percent or higher purity falls within the steviol glycosides specification used by major regulators.
In the European Union it is covered under E960. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recognises high-purity Reb A as GRAS through multiple notices, including the original 2008 filings that opened the U.S. market.
JECFA has set a permanent specification for steviol glycosides and an acceptable daily intake expressed as steviol. Reb A within that specification is accepted globally.
The Food Chemicals Codex carries a Reb A monograph. Kosher, Halal, and Non-GMO Project options are widely offered.
Manufacturing Process
Reb A is produced by enriching the rebaudioside A fraction of a crude stevia extract through fractional crystallisation.
Dried stevia leaf is extracted with hot water or aqueous ethanol. The crude extract is decolorised through activated carbon and refined on macroporous adsorbent resins that capture the glycosides while removing pigments, salts, and bitter co-extractives.
The glycoside-rich eluate is concentrated and crystallised from ethanol or aqueous ethanol. Reb A has favorable crystallisation behaviour compared to other glycosides, which makes it the easiest of the major species to isolate at high purity.
Repeated recrystallisation steps lift the purity from roughly 60 percent toward 95 to 98 percent. The mother liquors are recovered for use in lower-grade extracts or routed to bioconversion feedstock for Reb D and Reb M.
